Sweet Treat began with two owners who spent years working side by side and imagining a dessert cafe of their own, a joyful place where every guest can come in to feel good about themselves. A place that reminds them they deserve a sweet treat.

At the heart of that dream is Lily, a gifted chef and baker whose creativity was deeply shaped by her late older brother, a professional chef. His passion and artistry continue to inspire the care she brings to every recipe.

Together, the owners turned years of teamwork into Sweet Treat: a Yemeni and Hispanic-owned Richmond cafe where thoughtfully chosen flavors, warm hospitality, and made-your-way desserts bring people together. Our own cultures are part of our story, and we welcome yours. Through the universal language of sweetness, we hope to create moments of connection and joy across cultures.
